James, Dario and I traveled to Amsterdam last week to attend the first Blender Conference since the pandemic.
To say it was an amazing experience would be an understatement!
I’ve been twice before (in 2016 alone and 2017 with Rico), but this year was on another level. There were triple the number of attendees, and triple the number of rooms for presentations, meetings and discussions.
Almost everyone I know from the Blender community was there, and it was great to hang out with everyone! After my talk on Friday (video below), it was encouraging to hear from people how the work we do on Poly Haven has helped them.
Without further ado, here’s my traditional photo dump:
Nice! Thank you for publishing the pics! But why no blenderconf.hdr so we all can emulate a little blender conference at home? 😉 Cheers!
I shot one at the old studio last time 🙂 https://polyhaven.com/a/blender_institute
Thanks for sharing, looks like it was a fantastic trip. Currently suffering from Amsterdam envy.
Thanks so much for capturing the memories Greg! Now can I download these photos and use them as HDRIs? 😂
